Betty and Cleo met 10 years ago through their children,
who attended the same school.
They immediately became good friends,
who would often help each other with canning, cooking, painting etc.
and realized how efficiently they worked together.
Having had this awareness, they knew they would be good business partners,
but didn't know what niche they could fill
that would afford them the hours to raise their children and have.
Then about 5 years ago while helping an acquaintance flip a house,
several realtors and decorators who saw their work suggested
that they should start their own business…

That’s when the “Aha” moment arrived!
After brainstorming night after night
and watching many programs about organizing and design,
Betty and Cleo knew they had found their calling;
Professional Organizing combined with Home staging and Design.

They researched and learned everything they could on this timely profession,
which seemed to be a much needed service across North America.

On December 15 2005, the name "Home Harmony Makeovers" was approved
and they officially opened there doors in January 2006.

Home Harmony is a proud member of the POC (Professional Organizers of Canada)
which now has more than 500 members and growing is rapidly.

It is through the POC that courses for organizing are finally available in Canada.
Betty who had a back ground in textiles and interior painting,sucesfully
completed these courses and is now a TPO (Trained Professional Organizer).

Cleo has a degree in Horteculture from Holland, with a major in landscape and floral design.
She is currantly finishing a course in Staging & Interior design/redesign.

Most importantly they are ordinary women with realistic lives
who have been through many tough times themselves.
Betty and Cleo can relate to the dilemma of a chaotic lifestyle,
because they have been there.
They share real life experiences with clients and are devoted
to helping them feel more in control over their environment and lives.
With Cléo's background in design, Betty's as a PTO,
and their vast knowledge of the emotional needs of people...

We feel that organization is the key to not only freedom but also to success.

to achieve a good outcome with the least amount of stress.
